Welcome to Chamrott Kennels!
At Chamrott Kennels, we are dedicated breeders of Rottweilers, emphasizing sound temperament, type, and conformation.
Integrity is the foundation of our work. We aim to match each puppy with the perfect owner, ensuring a harmonious fit for both the puppy and their new family. Our puppies thrive in a clean, loving home, receiving ample socialization.
All our puppies are registered with Vic Dogs, vet-checked, vaccinated, and microchipped. We prioritize the health of our breeding stock, which is X-rayed, hip/elbow scored, and certified for eye and mouth health. Additionally, all breeding dogs are DNA profiled and tested for JLPP. We are always looking for suitable homes for our puppies and welcome your inquiries.
Chamrott Rottweilers is a family-operated kennel, run by Julie and Paul. Our journey with Rottweilers began in 1990, and we live on a small acreage in South Gippsland, Victoria.
Our passion for Rottweilers was ignited by our first show dog, Yeltson, who joined our family in 1991. Traveling for shows and obedience events with Yeltson deepened our love for this remarkable breed.

Rottweiler - The Breed
The Rottweiler is a breed of domestic dog, regarded as medium-to-large or large. The dogs were known in German as Rottweiler Metzgerhund, meaning Rottweil butchers' dogs, because one of their uses was to herd livestock and pull carts laden with butchered meat to market.
This continued until the mid-19th century when railways caused droving to be replaced with herding. Rottweilers are now used as search and rescue dogs, as guide dogs for the blind, as guard dogs and police dogs.
